Council Role
The role of the Watershed Council is to act as an advisory panel to the NBWA Board on the Watershed Stewardship Plan and other technical projects conducted by NBWA Committees. More specifically, the council has been active in developing the goals and objectives for the Watershed Stewardship Plan and sharing their expertise on watershed issues to be addressed in the plan.

North Bay Watershed Network
The North Bay Watershed Network promotes cooperation and coordination among organizations involved in community-driven stewardship of the natural resources of the North Bay. Organizations share protocols, approaches, information, and expertise, and partner on projects and initiatives. The Network improves individual organizations’ capacity, effectiveness, and efficiency, and fosters collaborative regional approaches. Meetings are open to everyone.
